It’s true FHA loans have changed and today they are one of the single most important loan products a credit union can offer its members. By choosing CU Members Mortgage, you get just that a partner you can count on.
Please begin by reviewing our partner program levels we call Mortgage Ease. The program levels allow you to choose your level of involvement in the mortgage process. We offer different programs with varying levels of credit union participation, and we can also customize a program for your specific needs, blending the benefits to achieve your goals.
Simply review the Mortgage Ease program levels and see how easy it can be to be our mortgage partner.
Becoming FHA approved
Obtaining FHA lender approval can be a long and complicated process and not many of those that apply actually become approved originators. To apply for FHA lender approval a credit union must pay a fee to FHA, fill out an application, provide state DBA approval, provide a fidelity bond, provide E & O insurance and write and provide a quality control plan.
When you work with an FHA-approved lender, such as CU Members Mortgage we shorten this process and make the application a breeze. Simply fill out an application, pay the $1,000 initial fee to HUD and we will assist you in writing a quality control plan. That’s it! Easy, simple and you are up and running to be a supervised agent to originate FHA loans in your geographic area. Annual renewals are $500 and payable to HUD.
As a partner with CU Members Mortgage, we work with you to provide high-quality service and years of expertise to your members.
Here is all the paperwork you need. Give us a call and we’ll walk you through it.
