CU Members History
The origins of CU Members Mortgage go back to 1952, when Jimmy S. DuBose founded Fort Worth Mortgage, one of the most stable and respected names in residential mortgage lending.
Recognizing the growing popularity of credit unions and sharing their philosophy of providing more personalized service, DuBose created CU Members Mortgage in 1982, a division devoted exclusively to providing credit unions with mortgage lending capabilities.

Today, CU Members Mortgage provides mortgage services to more than 600 credit unions nationwide from six regional offices. We work with our credit unions partners to origination more than $4 billion in residential home loans annually. With a mortgage servicing portfolio exceeding $10 billion and assets of more than $1 billion, we are among the leading privately held mortgage companies in the country.
