"This was my first CU Members Mortgage Conference. I consider it to be the most informative conference I have attended anywhere over the last few years. With so many levels of Credit Union mortgage lenders from many different cities and states, it is sometimes hard to plan an agenda that is informative and beneficial for everyone. This conference did just that! With all of the challenges and changes facing this industry from RESPA, Fannie Mae LQI, tightening of underwriting guidelines, appraisal issues and the crackdown on fraud, this conference used the 1 ¾ days to bullet point these issues with quality presenters who got to the point on each topic.
From both mornings opening up with some humor and levity presentations, to the economic update from Dr. James Gaines and Regulation Rodeo presentation from David Motley and everything in between, the information was easily digested, stayed on message and stayed on time.
